The brand-new bike shop in Southside, Rag & Bones Bicycle Co-op (1300 School st.), is hosting a bike-in movie event this Saturday to raise the funds for their new business. Not only do these guys fix bikes for cheap, they encourage awesome D.I.Y. ethics by showing customers how to fix or build their own bikes; they have parts, tools, and work benches on site!
This time around they will be showing the original 1990s live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. They are asking for a $2-$5 donation at the door, and they will also be providing popcorn and soda for sale. Bring a bike and a blanket to sit on and come chill out and catch some old-school ninja action while supporting a good cause. More about the event here.
