Baltimore has no shortage of historical points, but if the big ships in the harbor are making you yawn, douse yourself in the informal pleasure of beach attire on cobblestone with this Adventure: a beach-inspired bar crawl though Baltimore’s historic Fells Point, with 15 participating restaurants and watering holes.
We’ll gather in the heart of Fells Point at 709 South Broadway’s Dogwatch Tavern, where, from noon to 3:30 p.m., Adventures staffers will be on hand to check us in, hand out wristbands, and give us the 411 on what’s delicious and exciting. We’ll also be donning our beach-time best, but like the caveat facing every beach bum, remember: no shirt, no shoes, no service. Adding to our sandy sartorial statements will be a set of complimentary LivingSocial sunglasses.
Our wristbands give us exclusive discounts on drinks and meals; a map of the area will be distributed to help us make sense of the partying, which will last until midnight. Even better, the Adventures team will be floating around keeping tabs on which bars are too full or empty to better inform our decision-making. Nothing combats the sizzle of summer like a good ol’ Baltimore beach bash.
