Dutch company Van Gogh Vodka has released its latest creation—Peanut Butter & Jelly Vodka.
According to the company, the drink combines the “flavors of smooth peanut butter and raspberry jelly”.
To come up with this flavor, which inevitably evokes nostalgic memories of mum’s packed lunch, Van Gogh Vodka’s Master Distiller Tim Vos tested peanut butter sandwiches with various jellies.
“For me, the raspberry jelly came out the best,” he says. “It is fresh, fruity and mingles very well with the oily structure of the peanut butter.”
The company has even rolled out an accompanying recipe:
NUTS & BERRIES
1-1/2 oz. Van Gogh PB&J Vodka
3/4 oz. Berry Liqueur
3/4 oz. Milk or Cream
Shake well with ice, strain into a chilled martini glass, and garnish with a raspberry.
