More or less the mascot is a dude in a crazy animal costume that stands guard over the cheerleader. Because as much as sports helps to build character the fan sometime end up rioting, looting and committing atrocities, anyway. So ladies, remember that the Evergreen State College, Geoducks (a mollusk) or “Gooey Ducks,” as it is lovingly referred to as, is your best friend at sporting events.
