DOING OUR PART.
Sticky Rice is a proud supporter of Earth Day.
We have been doing our part since we opened in 1999
we feel is just doing our part, it’s Earth Month starting in April,
so here’s a round up of how Sticky likes to do.
WE RECYCLE.
It’s 2010, and everyone should be recycling by now.
Every week, we recycle our paper, glass, aluminum and cooking oil,
and we’re one of the only restaurants in town that always has.
Recycling takes almost no effort and the benefit is invaluable.
WE ARE POWERED BY THE SUN.
Earlier this year, we invested in our planet’s future,
and installed solar panels on top of our restaurant.
We’re saving 135 barrels of oil annually, the equivalent of
120,000 car miles not being driven.
W.A.P.
(WATER AWARENESS PROJECT)
In an effort to conserve water,
we are serving ice water only by request.
Iit’s a small step that can make a huge difference.
HELPING YOU DO YOURS.
We want to give back and want to help you do the same.
We’ve installed cigarette butt collectors outside of
the restauran to help you litter less.
BIKE TO THE FUTURE
We have a new bike rack.
In April ride your bike to Sticky and we will give you a
FREE Earth Month specialty item for
doing your part in helping the cause.
(1 per visit)
1/2 PRICE VEGGIE SUSHI HEAVEN
Our full range of vegetarian and vegan sushi will be available for
half price late night every Wednesday in April from 10:30-12:30pm.
