We here at Sticky Rice decided that it’s time for us to put our best recycling foot forward. Not sure what to expect or how to do it, we forge(d) ahead. We created our own system with designated trash cans and a small ad campaign in early April.
Recycling for us seemed to be impossible. We are very limited on space. There are no commercial recycling pans (yet, soon though) and if we want this to work we’re gonna have to drive it ourselves to the local site. With a little effort we are making progress. Progress in awareness and effort at work and at home.
We are recycling about 20% of our daily waste. We hope to increase that to 90% or more. We are also trying to get a commercial recycling program for the Fan so that we can make it easy for everyone to do it.
